This system produces a trivalent chromium-based conversion layer on aluminum and its alloys.
BONDERITE® M-NT 5992 is a trivalent chromium-based aluminum conversion surface treatment capable of producing a trivalent chrome conversion layer on aluminum and its alloys. According to the application and to the treated materials, the conversion layer color changes from colorless to light green. It improves paint adhesion and increases anti-corrosive protection. In bare metal finishing, it also provides low electrical contact resistance.
